How to Split a Cell in Google Sheets

There are a few ways to split a cell in Google Sheets. One way is to use the split function. To do this, type "=split(A1,B1)" into a cell where A1 is the cell you want to split and B1 is the delimiter. For example, if you want to split a cell that contains the text "Hello, world!" into two cells, you would type "=split(A1, " ")". This will split the cell into two cells, one containing "Hello" and the other containing "world!".

Another way to split a cell is to use the Text to Columns function. To do this, type "=text2columns(A1,B1)" into a cell where A1 is the cell you want to split and B1 is the delimiter. For example, if you want to split a cell that contains the text "Hello, world!" into two cells, you would type "=text2columns(A1, " ")". This will split the cell into two cells, one containing "Hello" and the other containing "world!".
