There are a few ways to lock rows in Excel. One way is to use the "Protect Sheet" function. To do this, select the "Protect Sheet" option from the "Review" tab. A dialog box will appear. Select the "Protect Ranges" check box and then select the range of cells that you want to protect. You can also password protect the sheet by entering a password in the "Password" text box.

Another way to lock rows in Excel is to use the "Protect Workbook" function. To do this, select the "Protect Workbook" option from the "Tools" menu. A dialog box will appear. Select the "Review" tab and then select the "Protect Sheet" check box. Enter a password in the "Password" text box.

Both of these methods will protect the cells in the range that you select from being edited.
