How to Do a Drop Down in Excel

There are a few ways to do a drop down in Excel. The easiest way is to use a data validation list.

1. Select the cells you want to use for your drop down.

2. Go to Data > Data Validation.

3. In the Validation Criteria section, select List.

4. In the Source field, enter the list of items you want to appear in the drop down.

5. Click OK.

You can also create a drop down in Excel using a combo box.

1. Select the cells you want to use for your drop down.

2. Go to Insert > Combo Box.

3. In the Properties section, select the Cell link radio button.

4. Select the cell where you want the combo box to appear.

5. Click OK.

In the Source field, enter the list of items you want to appear in the drop down.
