MODE.SNGL is a function in Google Sheets that calculates the statistical mode of a given set of values. The function takes in an input range of cells and outputs the statistical mode of the values in that range. The mode is the value that appears the most often in the given set of data.

To use the MODE.SNGL function, you first need to enter the data that you want to analyze into a range of cells. Then, you can use the MODE.SNGL function to calculate the mode of that data. The function takes two input parameters: the range of cells that contains the data, and the name of the column that contains the mode.

For example, if you wanted to calculate the mode of the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, you would first enter those numbers into a range of cells, and then use the MODE.SNGL function to calculate the mode. The function would look like this:

=MODE.SNGL(A1:A5, "Mode")

If you want to calculate the mode of a list of numbers that are not in numerical order, you can use the MODE.SNGL function in conjunction with the INDEX function. The INDEX function takes two input parameters: the range of cells that contains the data, and the position of the mode within that range.

For example, if you wanted to calculate the mode of the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, but you wanted the mode to be the third number in the list, you would use the INDEX function like this:

=MODE.SNGL(A1:A5, INDEX(A1:A5, 3))

MODE.SNGL is a function in Google Sheets that returns the mode of a set of numeric values. The syntax for the function is MODE.SNGL(array), where "array" is the range of numeric values that you want to find the mode for. The function will return the mode of the values in the array, as a numeric value.

MODE.SNGL should not be used when there is more than one numerical variable, as it will only return the mode of the first variable. Additionally, MODE.SNGL should not be used on text data, as it will return the mode of all the text values.

The MODE.SNGL function in Google Sheets returns the most common value in a given range. This function is often used to find the median value in a given range. There are several similar functions that can be used to find the median value in a given range. The MEDIAN function in Google Sheets returns the median value in a given range. The MID function in Google Sheets returns the value at the given position in a given range. The QUARTILE.INC function in Google Sheets returns the quartile for a given range.
