Using Text Boxes in Excel

There are a few different ways to use text boxes in Excel. One way is to use the Text Box tool under the Insert tab. To do this, click on the Insert tab and then click on the Text Box tool in the Text group. This will insert a text box into your worksheet. You can then type your text into the text box.

Another way to use text boxes in Excel is to link them to cells. To do this, first insert a text box as described above. Then, click on the text box and click on the Link button in the ribbon. This will open the Link dialog box. In the Link dialog box, you can select which cell you want to link the text box to.

You can also format your text boxes in Excel. To do this, first select the text box by clicking on it. Then, click on the Format button in the ribbon. This will open the Format Text Box dialog box. In this dialog box, you can change things like the color and size of your text box.
