Turning Off Names in Excel

If you're looking to turn off names in Excel, there are a few different ways to go about it. One way is to simply delete the name from the Name Manager. Another way is to use the "Name Box" drop-down menu and select "None".

If you want to get a little more detailed, you can use the Name Manager to select the name you want to remove and then click the "Delete" button. You can also use the "Rename" button to change the name of a selected range.

To access the Name Manager, click the "Formulas" tab and then click "Name Manager" in the Defined Names group. You can also press Ctrl+F3. If you don't see the Name Manager, it may be because it's been turned off. To turn it on, click the File tab, click Options, click Advanced, and then under Display options for this workbook, select Show Name Manager.
