Splitting Your Spreadsheet Window Into Panes in Excel

You can split your spreadsheet window into panes in Excel so that you can view different parts of your worksheet at the same time. This can be helpful if your worksheet is very large and you want to be able to see different parts of it without scrolling.

To split your window into panes, first click on the cell where you want to split your window. Then, click the "View" tab at the top of the Excel window. In the "Window" group, click the "Split" button. A horizontal line will appear in your worksheet, indicating where the split will occur.

You can adjust where the split will occur by dragging the line to a different location. To remove the split, click the "Split" button again. The line will disappear and your window will no longer be split into panes.
