If you're anything like me, you're constantly opening and closing files in Excel. And if you're anything like me, you're also constantly forgetting what those files are called. Thankfully, there's a way to see the full file name in the Files menu, so you never have to go hunting for a file again. Here's how:
- Open Excel and click on the File tab.
- Click on Options.
- In the left-hand pane, select Advanced.
- Scroll down to the Display section and check the box next to "Show full file path in title bar."
- Click OK.
Now, every time you open a file in Excel, you'll see the full file name in the title bar. No more guessing which file is which!
