Reordering the Display of a Data Series in Excel

There are a few different ways to change the order of your data in Excel. You can do it manually by clicking and dragging, or you can use the sort function. If your data is in a table, you can also use the filter function to rearrange the order of the data.

To manually reorder your data, first select the cells that you want to move. Then click and hold on the selected cells, and drag them to the new location. You can also use the cut and paste functions to move data around. To do this, select the cells that you want to move, then press Ctrl+X to cut them. Next, go to the new location and press Ctrl+V to paste them.

If you want to use the sort function, first select the cells that you want to sort. Then go to the Data tab on the ribbon and click on Sort. In the Sort dialog box, you can choose what column you want to sort by and whether you want to sort in ascending or descending order.

If your data is in a table, you can use the filter function to rearrange the order of the data. First, click on any cell in your table. Then go to the Data tab on the ribbon and click on Filter. In the drop-down menu that appears, choose how you want to filter your data.
