Putting Headers and Footers on Multiple Worksheets in Excel

You can put headers and footers on multiple worksheets in Excel by following these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Excel.
  2. Click the "File" tab.
  3. Click "Print."
  4. Click "Page Setup."
  5. Click the "Sheet" tab.
  6. Check the "Rows to repeat at top" box.
  7. Enter the row number that contains your header information.
  8. Check the "Columns to repeat at left" box.
  9. Enter the column number that contains your header information.
  10. Check the "Footer" box.
  11. a. Enter your information in the "Left section," "Center section," or "Right section."


  12.           b. To insert a page number, click "Page Number." Click the location where you want to insert the page number.
             c. To insert the date or time, click "Date & Time." Click the format that you want to use from the list.
      d. To insert other information, such as the file path or worksheet name, click "Custom Footer." Enter the text that you want to display.

The header and footer will appear on all of the selected worksheets when you print them.
