To print a short selection in Excel, first select the cells you want to print. Then, click the File tab, and click Print. Under Settings, click the drop-down arrow next to Print what, and click Selection. If you want to print only the active worksheet, and not the entire workbook, make sure the Print active sheets option is selected. Click Print.
You can also print a selection by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P. This will open the Print dialog box directly. Select Selection under Print what, and click Print.
If you want to print just a portion of a worksheet, you can first select the cells you want to print, and then click the File tab and click Print Area > Set Print Area. This will set your selected cells as the print area for that worksheet. You can then click File > Print, and only your selected cells will be printed.
