Making the Formula Bar Persistent in Excel

The Excel formula bar is a great tool that allows you to see and edit the formulas in your worksheet. However, it can be frustrating when the formula bar disappears every time you move to a new cell. Luckily, there is a way to make the formula bar persistent in Excel so that it always stays visible.

To make the formula bar persistent in Excel, first open your worksheet. Then, click on the 'View' tab at the top of the screen. In the 'Show' section of the 'View' tab, check the box next to 'Formula Bar'. This will make the formula bar visible at all times.

If you want to take this one step further, you can also click on the 'Options' button in the 'Show' section. This will open up the 'Excel Options' dialog box. In the 'Excel Options' dialog box, go to the 'Formulas' tab. In the 'Formulas' tab, check the box next to 'Always show formulas in cells'. This will ensure that formulas are always visible, even when they are not selected.

Once you have made these changes, click 'OK' to save them. From now on, your formula bar will be persistent in Excel and will always stay visible.
