Making Squares in Excel

To make a square in Excel, you will need to use the Drawing Tools. To do this, first select the Insert tab, and then click on the Shapes drop-down menu. From here, select the Rectangle option. Now, click and drag your mouse to draw a rectangle on your worksheet. Once you have made your rectangle, hold down the Shift key and press the F8 key. This will turn your rectangle into a square.

If you want to add text to your square, simply double-click on the shape and start typing. You can also change the color or style of your square by right-clicking on it and selecting the Format Shape option from the drop-down menu.

Once you have finished making your square, you can move it to any location on your worksheet by clicking and dragging it. You can also resize it by clicking on one of the handles and dragging it in or out.

That's all there is to it! Making squares in Excel is a quick and easy way to add some visual interest to your worksheets.
