There are many ways to use non-printing controls in Excel. Here are some tips:
- To hide a column, select the column header and then click on the Hide button in the Home tab.
- To unhide a column, select the adjacent columns on either side of the hidden column and then click on the Unhide button in the Home tab.
- To hide a row, select the row header and then click on the Hide button in the Home tab.
- To unhide a row, select the adjacent rows on either side of the hidden row and then click on the Unhide button in the Home tab.
- To hide cells, select the cells that you want to hide and then click on the Format button in the Home tab. In the Format Cells dialog box, go to the Protection tab and check the Hidden checkbox.
- To unhide cells, select the cells that you want to unhide and then click on the Format button in the Home tab. In the Format Cells dialog box, go to the Protection tab and uncheck the Hidden checkbox.
