To insert a radical symbol in Excel, first click on the cell where you want to insert the symbol. Then, click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen. In the "Symbols" section of the "Insert" tab, click on the "Symbol" button. This will open the "Symbol" dialog box. In the "Symbol" dialog box, select the "Radicals" subset from the drop-down menu under "Subset". Then, scroll down until you find the radical symbol you want to insert, and click on it.
