How to fix out of kilter borders in Excel

If your borders look out of kilter in Excel, there are a few things you can do to fix them.

  1. First, check the page setup to make sure that the margins are set correctly. If they're not, adjust them and then try printing again.
  2. Next, check to see if the problem is with the header or footer. To do this, go to File > Page Setup and then click on the Header/Footer tab. From here, you can adjust the margins for the header and footer.
  3. If neither of those solutions work, try adjusting the column widths. To do this, highlight all of the columns that are affected by the problem and then go to Format > Column > Width. Enter a new value for the width and then click OK.

Hopefully one of those solutions will fix your out of kilter borders in Excel!
