Highlighting Cells Containing Specific Text in Excel

You can highlight cells containing specific text in Excel by using the Conditional Formatting feature. To do this, first select the cells you want to format. Then, go to the Home tab and click on the Conditional Formatting button in the Styles group. A drop-down menu will appear. Select Highlight Cell Rules and then choose Contains Text. A dialog box will appear. In the Format only cells that contain section, select the type of text you want to format from the first drop-down menu and then enter the text in the second box. You can also specify the formatting you want to apply in the Apply to range section. When you're finished, click OK. Your selected cells will now be highlighted according to your specifications.
