Getting Rid of Spreadsheet Panes in Excel

If you're sick of looking at those pesky spreadsheet panes in Excel, there's a way to get rid of them for good. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Open up Excel and go to the View tab.
  2. Click on the Panes drop-down menu and select None. This will get rid of all your panes in one fell swoop!
  3. If you want to get rid of just one pane, click on the Panes drop-down menu and select the pane you want to get rid of. For example, if you want to get rid of the top pane, select Top. If you want to get rid of the bottom pane, select Bottom. If you want to get rid of the left pane, select Left. And if you want to get rid of the right pane, select Right. Easy peasy!
