Disabling Moving Between Worksheets in Excel

When you disable moving between worksheets in Excel, it means that you cannot use the mouse or keyboard to switch between tabs. This can be useful if you want to prevent someone from accidentally moving to another sheet, or if you simply want to keep people on one sheet while you're working on another.

To disable moving between worksheets, open the Excel file that you want to work with. Then, click the "File" tab at the top of the screen and select "Options." In the Options window, click "Advanced" in the left-hand column. Under the "Editing options" section, check the box next to "Disable sheet switching." Then, click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

Once you've done this, people will still be able to view other sheets in the workbook, but they won't be able to switch to them using the mouse or keyboard. If someone tries to switch sheets, a message will appear saying that sheet switching has been disabled.

If you need to enable sheet switching again later on, simply follow the same steps and uncheck the box next to "Disable sheet switching."
