Disabling a Function Key in Excel

There are a few different ways that you can disable a function key in Excel. One way is to go into the "Excel Options" menu, and then select "Advanced". In the "Editing options" section, there is an option to "Turn off function keys".

Another way to disable function keys is to use a macro. To do this, you will need to create a new macro, and then add the following code:

Sub DisableF1()
  Application.OnKey "{F1}", ""
End Sub

This will disable the F1 key. If you want to disable multiple function keys, you can just add more lines of code for each key that you want to disable.
