When you delete a style in Excel, any cells that were using that style will no longer be formatted with that style. You can delete a style from the Styles group on the Home tab. To delete a style, do the following:
- Click the Home tab.
- In the Styles group, right-click the style you want to delete, and then click Delete.
You cannot delete built-in styles, such as Good, Bad, or Neutral Cell Styles. If you try to delete one of these styles, Excel will display a message telling you that the style cannot be deleted.
