Creating an AutoShape in Excel

To create an AutoShape in Excel, first select the Insert tab on the ribbon. Then click the Shapes drop-down in the Illustrations group. This will open a menu of shapes to choose from. Select the desired shape, and then click and drag to draw it on the worksheet. To add text to an AutoShape, click on the shape to select it, and then type the desired text.

To change the color or style of an AutoShape, first select the shape to open the Format tab on the ribbon. Then click Shape Fill, Shape Outline, or Shape Effects to make changes. To rotate or flip an AutoShape, select it and then click Rotate or Flip in the Arrange group.

AutoShapes can be used to create diagrams, illustrations, and other graphics in Excel. They are a versatile tool that can be used to add visual interest to your worksheets.
