Counting Dates in a Range in Excel

To count the number of dates in a range in Excel, you can use the COUNTIF function. This function counts the number of cells in a range that meet a certain criteria. For example, to count the number of cells in a range that contain a date, you would use the following formula:

=COUNTIF(A1:A10,">="&A1)

This formula would count the number of cells in the range A1:A10 that contain a date greater than or equal to the date in cell A1. You can also use the COUNTIF function to count the number of cells in a range that do not contain a date. For example, to count the number of cells in a range that do not contain a date, you would use the following formula:

=COUNTIF(A1:A10,"<"&A1)

This formula would count the number of cells in the range A1:A10 that do not contain a date less than the date in cell A1.
