Converting Text to Values in Excel

There are a few different ways to convert text to values in Excel. One way is to use the Text to Columns feature. To use this feature, first select the cells that you want to convert. Then, go to the Data tab on the ribbon and click Text to Columns. In the Convert Text to Columns Wizard, select the Delimited option and click Next. On the next page of the wizard, select the delimiter that you want to use. For example, if you want to convert text that is separated by commas, you would select the comma delimiter. Once you have selected a delimiter, click Finish. The text in your selected cells will now be converted to values.

Another way to convert text to values is to use a formula. For example, if you have a column of text values that are separated by commas, you can use the following formula:

=SUBSTITUTE(A1,",","")

This formula will replace all commas in the cell with nothing, effectively converting the text to values. You can also use this same technique to convert text that is separated by any other character.
