Condensing Sequential Values to a Single Row in Excel

Assuming you have a list of sequential values in one column in Excel, and you want to condense them into a single row:

  1. First, select the entire column that contains the sequential values.
  2. Then, go to the Data tab on the Excel ribbon, and click Text to Columns. This will open the Convert Text to Columns Wizard.
  3. On the first page of the wizard, make sure that the Delimited option is selected, and then click Next.
  4. On the next page of the wizard, make sure that the Comma option is selected under Delimiters, and then click Finish.
  5. This will split your sequential values into separate columns, with each value in its own column.
