Cell Address of a Maximum Value in Excel

To find the cell address of the maximum value in a range of cells, you can use the MAX function. The MAX function returns the largest value in a range of cells. For example, if you have a range of cells that contains numbers, you can use the MAX function to find the largest number in that range.

To find the cell address of the maximum value in a range of cells, follow these steps:

  1. Select the range of cells that you want to search.
  2. Click the Formulas tab.
  3. In the Function Library group, click MAX.
  4. Click OK.

The cell address of the maximum value in the selected range will be displayed in the cell where you clicked MAX.
