If you're using Excel 2007, you can't update your PivotTables in Excel 2003. You'll need to either use a newer version of Excel, or export your PivotTable data to a file that can be opened in Excel 2003.

To export your PivotTable data:

1. Open the workbook that contains the PivotTable you want to export.
2. Click the PivotTable Tools tab, and then click Export.
3. In the Export dialog box, choose a location for the file, and then click Save.

Your PivotTable data will be saved to a file with a .csv extension. This file can be opened in Excel 2003.
