How to Switch Between Excel Tabs Faster with These Simple Shortcuts

If you're like most people, you probably spend a lot of time working in Microsoft Excel. And if you're like most people, you probably have to switch between tabs quite often. If you're tired of reaching for your mouse every time you need to switch tabs, there's a better way. With these simple shortcuts, you can quickly and easily switch between tabs in Excel, without ever having to take your hands off the keyboard.

The first shortcut is probably the most obvious one: simply press Ctrl+Tab on your keyboard to move to the next tab to the right. If you want to move to the previous tab, just press Ctrl+Shift+Tab. These shortcuts work in most Windows applications, not just Excel.

If you need to move to a specific tab, you can do so by pressing Ctrl+PgUp or Ctrl+PgDn. For example, if you're on the first tab and you want to move to the third tab, you would press Ctrl+PgDn twice. You can also use the mouse for this, of course, but it's much faster to use the keyboard.

Finally, if you want to quickly move to the first or last tab, you can use the following shortcuts:

  • To move to the first tab, press Ctrl+Home
  • To move to the last tab, press Ctrl+End

With these shortcuts, you can quickly and easily switch between tabs in Excel, without ever having to take your hands off the keyboard. Give them a try the next time you're working in Excel and see how much faster and easier they make your work.
