The Best Shortcut to Insert a Row in Excel on a Mac

If you're a Mac user, you know that there are some things that are just easier to do on a PC. One of those things is inserting a row in Excel. On a PC, you can just right-click on the row you want to insert and select "Insert." But on a Mac, it's not quite that simple.

The good news is that there is a shortcut that will make inserting a row on a Mac just as easy as it is on a PC. Here's how to do it:

  1. Select the row below where you want to insert the new row.
  2. Press Command+Shift+Return (that's the Return key, not the Enter key).
  3. A new row will be inserted above the row you selected in step 1.

That's all there is to it! Now you can insert rows on your Mac just as easily as you can on a PC.
