The best shortcut to insert a row in Excel

If you're anything like me, you're always looking for ways to work smarter, not harder. That's why I'm excited to share with you my favorite shortcut for inserting a row in Excel.

Here's how it works:

1. Select the cell where you want to insert the new row.

2. Press Ctrl + Shift + + (that's the plus sign).

3. Voila! A new row has been inserted above your selected cell.

This shortcut is so handy because it's so much faster than the alternative, which is to right-click on the row above where you want to insert the new row and then select Insert from the menu that appears.
