How to indent in Excel: The shortcut you need to know

If you're like most people, you probably use the mouse to click on the little arrows to indent cells in Excel. But did you know there's a keyboard shortcut that will save you time?

Here's how to do it:

1. Select the cell or cells you want to indent.

2. Press and hold the Alt key.

3. While holding down the Alt key, press the = (equal sign) key on the keyboard.

4. Release the Alt key.

5. The cell or cells will be indented.
