If you're like most people, you probably use Microsoft Excel on a daily basis. And if you're like most people, you probably have to clear the contents of cells quite often. Maybe you're entering new data and you need to clear out the old data first. Or maybe you're just tidying up your spreadsheet and you want to get rid of some old data that you don't need anymore. Whatever the reason, clearing the contents of cells is a pretty common task in Excel.

One quick way to clear the contents of a cell is to simply select the cell and then press the "delete" key on your keyboard. This will delete the contents of the cell and leave the cell itself blank. Another way to do it is to select the cell and then right-click on it. This will bring up a menu and you can then select "clear contents" from that menu. This will also clear the contents of the cell and leave it blank.

If you want to clear the contents of multiple cells at once, you can select all of the cells that you want to clear by holding down the "shift" key on your keyboard and then clicking on each cell that you want to select. Once all of the cells are selected, you can then clear their contents in the same way that we described above. Just press the "delete" key on your keyboard or right-click and select "clear contents" from the menu.

So those are a few quick and easy ways to clear the contents of cells in Excel. As we said, which method you use is probably going to be a matter of personal preference. But now you know a few different ways to do it so that you can choose the one that works best for you.
