The Best Shortcut to Shift Cells Up in Excel

If you're anything like me, you're always looking for ways to work smarter, not harder. And when it comes to Microsoft Excel, there are a ton of shortcuts and tips that can help you save time and be more productive. Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite shortcuts for quickly shifting cells up in Excel.

The first thing you need to do is select the cells that you want to move. Then, hold down the Shift key and press the Up Arrow key on your keyboard. That's it! The cells will be shifted up by one row.

If you want to shift multiple rows at once, simply select the number of rows that you want to move, then hold down the Shift key and press the Up Arrow key the same number of times.

For example, if you want to move three rows up, you would select the three rows, then hold down the Shift key and press the Up Arrow key three times.

You can also use this shortcut to quickly insert blank rows. Simply select the number of rows that you want to insert, then hold down the Shift key and press the Up Arrow key. The selected rows will be inserted above the current row.

This shortcut is one of my favorites because it's so simple, but it can save you a lot of time. I hope you find it useful!
