How to Use the Insert Row Shortcut in Excel

If you're like most people, you probably use the insert row shortcut in Excel quite often. After all, it's one of the most commonly used features in the program. And, it's also one of the easiest ways to add new data to a worksheet. But, did you know that there are actually two different ways to use the insert row shortcut in Excel?

The first way is to simply select the row where you want to insert the new row. Then, press the "Ctrl" key and the "Shift" key at the same time. Next, press the "+" key. This will insert a new row above the selected row.

The second way to use the insert row shortcut is to select the row where you want to insert the new row. Then, press the "Ctrl" key and the "Shift" key at the same time. Next, press the "-" key. This will insert a new row below the selected row.

So, there you have it. Two different ways to use the insert row shortcut in Excel. Which one you use is up to you. But, if you're like most people, you'll probably find that the first way is the easiest and quickest way to add new data to a worksheet.
