If you're anything like me, you're always looking for ways to work faster and more efficiently in Excel. One way to do this is to use keyboard shortcuts, and one of my favorite shortcuts is the one for inserting a new row. Here's how it works:
First, select the row where you want to insert the new row. Then, press and hold the Alt key on your keyboard, and while doing so, press the 0 (zero) key on the number pad on your keyboard. This will insert a new row above the selected row.
If you want to insert multiple rows, simply select the number of rows you want to insert, and then press and hold the Alt key and press the 0 key the number of times you want to insert rows. For example, if you want to insert 3 rows, you would press and hold the Alt key and press the 0 key 3 times.
That's all there is to it! This shortcut is a huge time saver, and once you get used to using it, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.
