15 Keyboard Shortcuts for Zooming In and Out in Excel

If you work with large or complex Excel spreadsheets, you know how important it is to be able to zoom in and out quickly and easily. The good news is that there are a number of keyboard shortcuts that can help you do just that.

To zoom in or out, simply hold down the Ctrl key and scroll up or down with your mouse. You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Ctrl + + to zoom in
  • Ctrl + - to zoom out

If you want to zoom to a specific percentage, you can use the following keyboard shortcut:

  • Ctrl + Shift + + or Ctrl + Shift + - followed by a number between 10 and 400 (e.g. Ctrl + Shift + +200 to zoom to 200%)

You can also zoom to a specific area of your spreadsheet by selecting the cells you want to see and then using the following keyboard shortcut:

  • Ctrl + Shift + =

If you want to quickly return to the default 100% zoom level, you can use the following keyboard shortcut:

  • Ctrl + 0 (zero)

Finally, if you want to see your entire spreadsheet at once (regardless of how many columns and rows it has), you can use the following keyboard shortcut:

  • Ctrl + A
