How to Use the Repeat Action Shortcut in Excel

If you're like most people, you probably use the same few shortcuts over and over again in Excel. But did you know that there's a shortcut that allows you to repeat your last action?

Here's how it works:

1. First, do the action that you want to repeat. For example, if you want to insert a row, select a cell in the row above where you want the new row to be inserted, and then press the Insert key on your keyboard.

2. Next, press the F4 key on your keyboard. This will repeat your last action.

3. If you want to repeat the action multiple times, press the F4 key multiple times. For example, if you want to insert 3 rows, press the F4 key 3 times.

That's all there is to it! This shortcut can save you a lot of time if you find yourself doing the same action over and over again in Excel.
