Excel Copy and Paste Shortcuts to Save You Time

If you're like most people, you probably spend a lot of time working in Microsoft Excel. And if you're like most people, you probably wish there were some way to speed up the process. Well, there is! With a few simple keyboard shortcuts, you can save yourself a lot of time when copying and pasting data in Excel.

The first shortcut is the most basic one: Ctrl + C. This shortcut will copy the selected cells to the clipboard. You can then paste them elsewhere using the Ctrl + V shortcut.

If you want to copy and paste only the values of the cells, and not the formatting, you can use the Ctrl + Shift + V shortcut. This is especially useful if you're copying data from one sheet to another and you don't want the formatting to carry over.

If you want to copy and paste only the formulas in a cell, you can use the Ctrl + ' shortcut. This is useful if you're trying to create a duplicate sheet with different values in the cells.

If you want to copy and paste only the formatting of a cell, you can use the Ctrl + Shift + C shortcut. This is useful if you want to apply the same formatting to a range of cells.

Finally, if you want to copy and paste only the comments in a cell, you can use the Ctrl + Shift + F2 shortcut. This is useful if you want to quickly add a comment to a cell without having to type it out.

These are just a few of the many shortcuts that can save you time when working in Excel. For a complete list of shortcuts, consult the Excel help documentation or search the internet for "Excel shortcuts".
