And when it comes to Excel, there are a ton of little tips and tricks that can make your life a whole lot easier. Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite Excel formatting shortcuts: pasting formatting like a pro.
If you're not familiar with this shortcut, it's pretty simple. Basically, when you copy and paste cells in Excel, you can choose to paste just the values, just the formatting, or both. This can be a huge time-saver, especially if you're working with a lot of data.
To use this shortcut, simply select the cells that you want to copy and paste. Then, right-click and select "Paste Special." In the Paste Special dialog box, you'll see options for "Values," "Formats," and "All."
If you want to paste just the values, select "Values." If you want to paste just the formatting, select "Formats." And if you want to paste both the values and the formatting, select "All."
It's really that simple! This shortcut can save you a ton of time, especially if you're working with a lot of data. So next time you're copying and pasting in Excel, remember this shortcut and give it a try.
