The best Excel shortcut for inserting rows - and how to use it

If you're an Excel user, chances are you insert rows on a regular basis. And if you're inserting rows regularly, you probably want to find the quickest and easiest way to do it. Well, we've got good news for you - there is a shortcut for inserting rows in Excel, and it's pretty simple to use.

The shortcut for inserting rows in Excel is to press the Alt + I + R keys simultaneously. This will insert a new row above the currently selected row. So, if you're on row 5 and you press the shortcut, a new row will be inserted above row 5.
