Excel Enter Time with Seconds Keyboard Shortcut

You can enter time in Excel with seconds using a keyboard shortcut. First, select the cell where you want to enter the time. Then, press the Ctrl + Shift + : keys on your keyboard. This will insert a time stamp into the cell with the current time and date. You can then enter the number of seconds that have elapsed since the time stamp by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow keys on your keyboard. Finally, press the Enter key to complete the time entry.

You can also use this keyboard shortcut to enter a time that is not the current time. To do this, first enter the time into the cell using the Ctrl + Shift + : keyboard shortcut. Then, press the F2 key to edit the cell. This will open the Format Cells dialog box. In the Number tab, select the Time category. Then, in the Type drop-down list, select the time format that you want to use. Finally, press the OK button to close the dialog box and apply the new time format.
