How to Quickly Copy Visible Cells in Excel with a Shortcut

If you work with data in Microsoft Excel, you know how important it is to be able to quickly and easily copy visible cells. There are a few different ways to do this, but the quickest and easiest way is to use a shortcut. Here's how:

  1. First, select the cells that you want to copy. You can do this by clicking on the cell in the upper-left corner of the range and then dragging your mouse down to the cell in the lower-right corner of the range. Alternatively, you can click on the first cell, hold down the Shift key, and then click on the last cell. Either way, the cells should now be highlighted.
  2. Next, press the Ctrl key and the letter C at the same time. This is the shortcut for the Copy command. Alternatively, you can click on the Home tab and then click on the Copy button in the Clipboard group.
  3. Now, select the cell where you want to paste the copied cells. Again, you can do this by clicking on the cell in the upper-left corner of the range and then dragging your mouse down to the cell in the lower-right corner of the range. Alternatively, you can click on the first cell, hold down the Shift key, and then click on the last cell. Either way, the cells should now be highlighted.
  4. Finally, press the Ctrl key and the letter V at the same time. This is the shortcut for the Paste command. Alternatively, you can click on the Home tab and then click on the Paste button in the Clipboard group.
