Deleting Everything Up to a Character Sequence in Excel

Deleting everything up to a character sequence in Excel can be done by using the following steps:

  1. Open the Excel file that contains the data you want to delete.
  2. Click on the cell that contains the data you want to delete.
  3. Press the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys at the same time, then press the "Home" key. This will highlight all of the cells above the one you selected in Step 2.
  4. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard. This will delete all of the data in the cells above the one you selected in Step 2.
