Changing the Pattern Used in a Data Series in Excel

If you have a data series in Excel that you want to change the pattern for, there are a few different ways you can do this. One way is to select the data series, then go to the "Format" tab and select "Change Series Type." From here, you can select the new pattern you want to use for the data series. Another way to change the pattern for a data series is to right-click on the data series and select "Format Data Series." This will open up a menu where you can select the new pattern you want to use.

If you want to keep the original data series and create a new one with a different pattern, you can do this by selecting the data series, then going to the "Insert" tab and selecting "Line." This will create a new line chart with the data series you selected. You can then right-click on this new line chart and select "Change Series Type." From here, you can select the new pattern you want to use.

There are many different patterns you can use for your data series in Excel. Some of the most common patterns are line, bar, column, area, pie, and scatter. You can also use custom patterns if you want. To do this, go to the "Format" tab and select "Custom." From here, you can enter in the custom pattern you want to use.
