The Set Print Area tool allows you to specify which cells on a worksheet will be printed. This is useful if you have a large worksheet and only want to print a specific area. To add the Set Print Area tool to Excel, follow these steps:
- Open the workbook that you want to modify.
- Click the File tab, and then click Options.
- In the left pane, click Customize Ribbon.
- Under Main Tabs, select the Developer check box.
- Click OK.
The Developer tab is now visible in the Ribbon. To add the Set Print Area tool to a toolbar:
- Click the Developer tab, and then click Macro Security.
- In the Macro Settings section, select the Trust Access to the VBA project object model check box.
- Click OK.
Note: If you are prompted with a message asking if you want to allow access to Visual Basic, click Yes.
