The Best Shortcut for Inserting a Row in Excel

If you're anything like me, you're always looking for ways to work faster in Excel. One of the things that can take up a lot of time is inserting rows. If you have a large spreadsheet, it can take a while to insert a row at the top or bottom of the sheet. Luckily, there's a shortcut that can help you insert rows quickly and easily. Here's how it works:

  1. First, select the row where you want to insert the new row. You can do this by clicking on the row number on the left side of the screen.
  2. Next, press the Alt key on your keyboard, and then press the I key. This will insert a new row above the one you selected.
  3. You can also insert multiple rows at once by selecting multiple rows before pressing the Alt + I keys. For example, if you want to insert three rows, you would select three rows and then press the Alt + I keys. The new rows will be inserted above the ones you selected.

That's all there is to it! This shortcut is a great time-saver if you find yourself inserting rows often. Give it a try the next time you need to insert a row in Excel.
