15 Easy Ways to Rename a Tab in Excel

If you're like most people, you probably have a lot of tabs open in your Excel workbook. And, if you're like most people, you probably don't have them all named properly. If you're looking for an easy way to rename a tab in Excel, look no further! Here are 15 easy ways to do it:

  1. Right-click on the tab and select 'Rename'.
  2. Click on the tab, then click on the 'Rename' button in the 'Ribbon'.
  3. Double-click on the tab.
  4. Select the tab, then press F2.
  5. Click on the tab, then click on the 'Rename' button in the 'Quick Access Toolbar'.
  6. With the tab selected, press Ctrl+R.
  7. Click on the tab, then click on the 'Rename' button in the 'Formatting' group of the 'Home' tab.
  8. Select the tab, then press Ctrl+F2.
