10 Grouping Shortcuts in Excel You Need to Know

If you work with data in Excel, you know how important it is to be able to group and ungroup data quickly and easily. 1. To group data by rows, select the rows you want to group, then press Ctrl+Shift+<. To group data by columns, select the columns you want to group, then press Ctrl+Shift+>.

2. To ungroup data, select the data you want to ungroup, then press Ctrl+Shift+U.
