The Top 10 Keyboard Shortcuts for Commenting in Excel

If you work with Excel spreadsheets on a regular basis, you know how important it is to be able to quickly add comments. Comments are a great way to add additional context to a cell or range of cells, and they can be a valuable tool for collaboration. Fortunately, there are a number of keyboard shortcuts that can make commenting in Excel a breeze.

1. Ctrl+Shift+O: This shortcut will open the Insert Comment dialog box. From here, you can type your comment and then click the Save button.

2. Ctrl+Alt+M: This shortcut will insert a new comment directly into a cell. Simply position your cursor in the cell where you want to add the comment and then press the shortcut keys.

3. Ctrl+Shift+A: This shortcut will open the Edit Comment dialog box. From here, you can edit an existing comment. Simply select the cell that contains the comment you want to edit and then press the shortcut keys.

4. Ctrl+Shift+C: This shortcut will copy an existing comment. Simply select the cell that contains the comment you want to copy and then press the shortcut keys. You can then paste the comment into another cell by pressing Ctrl+V.

5. Ctrl+Shift+R: This shortcut will open the Resize Comment dialog box. From here, you can change the size of the comment box. Simply select the cell that contains the comment you want to resize and then press the shortcut keys.

6. Ctrl+Shift+D: This shortcut will open the Delete Comment dialog box. From here, you can delete an existing comment. Simply select the cell that contains the comment you want to delete and then press the shortcut keys.

7. Ctrl+Shift+F: This shortcut will open the Find Comment dialog box. From here, you can search for a particular comment. Simply type the text you want to search for and then press the Enter key.

8. Ctrl+Shift+H: This shortcut will open the Replace Comment dialog box. From here, you can search for and replace a particular comment. Simply type the text you want to search for and then press the Enter key.

9. Ctrl+Shift+J: This shortcut will open the Go To Comment dialog box. From here, you can jump to a particular comment. Simply type the text you want to search for and then press the Enter key.

10. Ctrl+Shift+K: This shortcut will open the Format Comment dialog box. From here, you can format the text of a comment. Simply select the cell that contains the comment you want to format and then press the shortcut keys.
